Who makes the best CIJ industrial inkjet printers and why?

 So when we say "the best industrial CIJ", we mean the best in many ways.

• Performance time
• Ease of maintenance
• Economical in terms of solvent and service consumption
• Easy to integrate into the production line
• There is much more, it all depends on the user's requirements and needs.

I am going to talk about the advantages of two brands I know well.

Video injectors

• Up to 14,000 operating hours between maintenance intervals
• Very long service life, more than 1 week, before the printheads need to be cleaned.
• Use of smart cartridges. This prevents fluid leaks and ensures that the correct fluid is used.
• Easy to integrate into production lines
• High-speed printing to meet faster production environments.
• Easy maintenance as only one component, the ink cartridge, needs to be replaced during maintenance
• No need for regular nozzle calibration

Domino

• Uptime before having to clean the printhead is more than one week
• Easy to integrate into production lines
• Low maintenance costs
• High-speed printing to adapt to faster production environments
• I'm sure there are other Domino advantages I haven't realized.

As a Videojet inkjet printer service provider for the past 6 years and as a field engineer in Pakistan for the past 3 years, I am aware of the following Videojet advantages in addition to those already mentioned.

• Preventive maintenance costs are very low. At first glance, they may seem high, but if you take into account the time it takes to maintain them, they turn out to be very low.
• It is equipped with a solvent regeneration system that greatly reduces solvent consumption.
• The printhead has been simplified to make it easy to clean and dry, minimizing downtime.
• The printhead valves are housed in a removable module. This makes it easy to replace just the module, rather than the entire supply line, in the event of valve failure.
• Replacing the cartridge during maintenance guarantees you a completely new ink system. This includes the ink filter, pressure sensor, wash pump, and inkjet pump. All of these components usually fail within a few hours.
• It has a positive air pump that blows clean air into the printhead and prevents dust from being sucked into the system. This dust can cause the filter to clog prematurely. This is one of the reasons why Videojet has the highest uptime between maintenance visits.
